Newest Location Now Serving Customers in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
BIRMINGHAM, MI – Jax Kar Wash (“Jax”) continues to expand throughout Wisconsin with the opening of its 8th Jilly’s Car Wash, located at 3029 N. 112th Street in Wauwatosa.
The newest site offers Wisconsin customers another convenient Jilly’s location to get a top quality car wash, featuring a state-of-the-art belt conveyor system for easy drive-on service. Customers are provided with hand towels for self-drying, 16 free vacuums with condensed air blowers, and free window and carpet cleaning solutions to keep their car’s interior as clean as its exterior.

Jax has grown from 9 to 45 locations in less than 3 years, quintupling the number of convenient sites available to customers across Michigan, Wisconsin, and Indiana. With ten additional sites currently under construction or contract, the company will celebrate no less than 53 locations across the Midwest by late 2025.

All Jax locations use only soft cloths, high-pressure fresh water, and mild soaps to guarantee clean cars without any film or residue. Customers who join the Unlimited Wash Club receive up to 2 washes per day, eliminating the guesswork of deciding when to get a car wash based on the weather. Jilly’s locations also provide on-site vacuums, window cleaners, and carpet cleaners – free of charge – so customers can clean their car’s interior quickly and easily after any wash.
Jax has been serving customers with its custom car washing services for over 70 years. Across its network, Jax now offers Express Exterior car washes at all locations and Full-Service and Express Auto Detailing at select locations. A Detroit institution since 1953, Jax expanded its footprint into Wisconsin with the acquisition of Jilly’s Car Wash.
In February of 2022, TRP Capital Partners, a Birmingham, Michigan-based private equity firm, took an ownership stake in Jax Kar Wash to fuel the company’s expansion. TRP Capital’s investment has funded a mix of new construction and acquisition growth, and the company is well-positioned for continued expansion.
